OK, i lost a bet today with my boss. I am
down a carton of VB. I seem to remember a while back on the list that if you put
a new engine in an old car, the cat converter is not required by law. The
car is a datsun 240z and the engine is a Toyota Supra 2.5L twin turbo. So
i rang up the RTA and they said it does need a cat converter because the exhaust
system has to be the same as the engine originally had. So i was wondering
if any of you FJ or SR 1600 blokes have a cat or have spoken to an egineer about
it???
