My 2 bobs worth, and will make for a really FUN conversion project.
Series 3 Bluebird TRX + SR20 Turbo Engine. This engine will almost bolt
straight into a series 3. I have a series 2 and find myself going to the
bloody wreckers every weekend ripping parts off series 3 bluebirds...
If you build it yourself, you could make yourself a quite neat looking car
with 185kw in standard form & if you play around 500+HP is not out of the
question. Expect to blow about $6,000 minimum to begin with on engine &
car.... But should be easy bang for bucks.... :)
Your other option is to go and buy a Hyundai XL.... Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.........
