Just to add to this...
Rare Spares sell a seat belt which won't cut in to yer throat, as a
replacement item for a Holden Monaro Coupe, $99 each brand new! Bolted
straight up in my Datto 1600 and Rx4 Coupe, both cars had the same poor
factory mounting point. This seat belt has a few inches of belt that hangs
down off the mounting to allow it to come down nicely over your shoulder,
not around your neck :)

The 180B SSS 2 door has this type of belts too.
