Ash,

180B (610) belts aren't much good for a 510 as they use a B pillar mounting.
I've seen it done before but I don't recommend it. Another inertia reel belt
I've seen used is off the 200B wagon with the end of the belt mounted to the
roof mounting point (instead of back to the floor) on the 510 with the B
pillar mounting as a belt guide. This means the B pillar would still take
some force in an accident so for that reason I still don't like this method.

In my opinion the safest and most comfortable inertia belt conversions for a
510 are off the 2 door 200BSX or SSS, Mitsui Scorpion, 240KGT, Skyline 2
door, (Z's are no good - crude mounting), some Corolla hatchbacks. These
belts feed through a hanger that attaches to the roof mounting point and
then return to the floor ie they don't use a B pillar point which is perfect
for the 510.

regards,
terry

Has anyone used 180B belts? I heard they worked pretty well.
