Just thought I'd let you know that I've solved my problem regarding the
Power Transistor unit off my SR20 ignition system.
I rang all round Sydney for this gizmo, and the best price I could get was
$599 and up to $750.... For an electronic ignition module?!?
I considered pinching one off a Silvia in a car yard on Parramatta Rd, but
then thought to myself "Self, that's bad karma.. Do something else..." So I
rang Roccos performance in Minchinbury this morning, told them my problem,
and the nice friendly bloke there told me that the EMS general purpose one
would do the job just as good, if not better than the Nissan part...
Price... $117.
Am I a happy customer or what?
So, moral to the story is...... Dont buy parts from Nissan if you can help
it!!! :)
