I've just had a look at my discs for wear - front 200B Girlock (Paged) are
smooth as the day they were last machined and have done twice the distance
of the R31 rear with Ultimates. Rears are scored (not badly yet) but I'm
surprised at the amount of visible wear, I may get one more pad change out
of them and then they are a throw away as they're already on the thickness
limit. Skyline R31 discs are just so damn soft, so I may have to splurge out
and get a set of DBA replacements next time.

I have seen the additional wear of Metal Kings. Used on a set of 270mm
240K and twinspot sumitomo's you could clearly see after the first break
in run that the discs were being chewed more. This setup is on a 180B
rally car and the owner said he hasn't experienced any major brake fade
with them. He did mention having to do one stop to warm them a bit
before they felt good.
