OK. There up on the web now. www.angelfire.com/sd/hot1200s/tech/struts

The pics are there except my webpage is pretty dodgy at the moment. In fact
it doesnt work but its under construction. If the link doesnt work just
tell us and i will fix it.

I'll give u the details of the conversion to add to your page.

Struts are from a c210 Skyline. Disc's are Honda 10" vented. Calipers are
Toyota Landcruiser - late 70's model i think. Used Datsun 180b/200b/stanza
bearings. The spring cups had to be cut off with a hacksaw and ground back
with a grinder. I used some old stanza struts and carefully cut the struts
in half to use stanza spring cups which are alot smaller but the same size
as the 1200 strut tops.(may be different for the 1600s???) As u can see in
the photos the new cups are just loose on the strut waiting to be welded.
The only reason i hadnt welded them is because i needed to fit up wheels and
tyres to make sure nothing was going to foul. I got some front wheel drive
offset nissan pulsar rims which looks like the were made for this setup.
All clearences are within 1cm!! Perfect. The rims are 14x6 with 195/55
Falken rubber. I will use stanza lower control arms, stanza lower ball
joints with the stanza steering arm which bolts straight up to the c210
strut. Umm. I think thats all?

Hopefully this setup will stop and turn my 1200 on a dime :)
