Zac,
The TRX Bluebird disc is 280mm (R31 is 260mm) but is not as good a choice
for the rear of a 1600 as the hub height is 17mm greater for the TRX and is
compensated for with more inwards offset which makes them a real pain to
clear the A arms and you can't use the original bracket on the 1600 as you
can with the R31. The US guys use this disc with a made up bracket and there
is an article on the Bluebirds site. Before joining Ozdat I was nearly
tempted to do this conversion myself but alas I was told about a better way
right here.
regards
Terry

Nick, what is the size of the disc of the Bluebird rear disc with the
internal handbrake?
Could a larger disc be used?
