Excellent point Nick,
Although not all 4 alloy spots are affordable to the average joe blow,
( I can't afford them) i.e., willwood, etc, etc,
yes you do get some flex in the single spot systems, but when you learn how to
drive, the emphasis is not on braking but on learning to drive a car!!!
As some of you guys and gals know I race my 16, and I run R31 struts and R31
rear disc setup, all single spot stuff, unsprung weight plays more of a factor
than having over rated braking system, cause unless you plan to do 300klm an
hour down the front straight of your own street, what's the point????????,
I know from experience that all your doing is either
A. Wasting your money on something that is not going to work unless your doing
those sort of speed on the roads, which is illegal anyway and not worth losing
your license over.
B. You are really going to race your car on a track that is designated for that
kind of speed, and requires the big brakes. ( more fun )
C. You just want to be a wanker. ( no offense intended )
Your choice guys
Peter
