So can you get a rice boy BOV or not?
You could still get the whoosh sound from vacuum i think...not as loud
though
I'm thinking of mucking around with my own version of anti-lag
technology...instead of firing late into the turbo to spin the crap out of
it, have a small compressor tank that gives boost the instant you hit the
throttle. It recharges at idle. Probably already been done before though.
I'm also working on a rice boy V8/V12 sound. To do it digitally you'd need
an old motherboard with sound, hard disk and DC-DC power supply, custom
interface card to pick up RPM, custom software to simulate the sound, small
amp, external loud speakers mounted under bonnet, and under boot (probably
illegal last time I checked). And simulating the sound with software is
another thing...you have to have a multi channel setup...one channel
simulates the exhaust note, another simulates the induction noise, and then
you have to think about quantisation throught the rev range...anyone
actually know what I'm talking about or am I wasting my breath?
I tell you there's money to be made in rice boy accessories ;-)

BOVs
