Zac,
You must go back to stock lash pads with a stock cam. The lash pads from the
mild cam are thicker than stock ones if the cam is a regrind. They gring
material from the base of the cam and you have to use the thicker lash pads
to maintain the stock rocker arm geometry.

Subject: Valve/rocker clearance.

List! I swapped my mild cam with a stock C cam yesterday. Today I went to
adjust the valve clearances. I've never done it before and I think I was
doing
it right, but I could not get the rocker to go low enough to create any type
of
gap between the lash pad and cam. Basically I ran out of thread to keep
lowering the rocker.

Are the lash pads from the mild cam too big, ie they need to be swapped for
something smaller?

Cheers!
zac
