The hose from the rockercover is a way of collecting oil fumes -
they either go back into the carbie and are reburnt (along with
a bit of oil sometimes), or some people use a trap, which
catches oil and still allows the hose to breathe fitered air.
Obviously with some setups and or filters, it is impractical to
run the rocker hose or crank hose into them, so a filtered oil
trap is the go. Erol showed me a design that is simple and
useful.

ps authorities like to see a filter on these hoses - and they
dont like them running out the bottom onto the road, so ive been told...
