Jordan, First of all, I like the abbreviation 'VLSD', never heard of it, I'll have to start using it!!!!!! I recently put a 4.4 R200 VLSD into my 16. I brought the diff of a guy who had written his 16 of. Because the diff was already in a 16, all the hard work i.e- the 4-stud output flanges were already on,and the rear diff crossmember was already made. The diff was out of a R31 import. They go for about $600 dollars. The biggest drama is modifing the output shaft so that you can bolt the 1600 half-shafts on. I had to get a tailshaft made up, because the input flange on the R200 is bigger(naturally!!) than the 1600 flange. As for the rear diff cross member, Someone may make them e.g feral Errol or 1600 workshop in VIC, or SSS in sydney. Shop around. All up it cost me *$350 for R200 *$40 for oil(ouch) Castrol SAF XA *$88 for tailshaft mods *$20 for paint, new tailshaft bolts, ETC,ETC. When you stand behind my car, the diff is relly obvious, and looks as phat as!! Good luck Damien _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
