No wonder they pull like a schoolboy. Thats a very interesting torque figure for the stock 3.9 diff. I bet the torque curve is flat as anything as well?

Hi list

 

Just thought I'd post the dyno results from this afternoon for anyone who's curious.  This is for a completely stock Z20E on a Dyno Dynamics dyno.  Stock wheels and tyres and whatever diff is standard in a '71 1600 Wagon (3.9?)

 

Peak power at ~5700rpm is 62kw with 103Nm at the wheels.

Peak torque at ~3600rpm is 121Nm with 45kw at the wheels.

 

I'll get around to scanning the chart in some day :)
