Robert,

I recommend that you use an oil cooler out of a production car which is design 
to do the job - MS65 Toyota Crowns and Corona Mk2 have one that wont cost you 
an arm and they also have a thermo valve that stops the oil from getting too 
cool. I saw a couple of them at Dunkers last Turesday if you live in Sydney.
