I dont know about any new type wiper motors but ...
the other day I took off the blades that are attatched to the wipers to
press against the window under high speed. Anyway, when I was travelling at
high speed the wipers flicked up and the wiper arm has now come off the
wiper motor.

Anyone know what I can do to fix this as I have already put the nut back on
twice...

I would like to increase the speed of my 1600's windscreen wipers.

The RTA NSW regs' state that "Two speed windscreen wipers with a fast speed
of at least 45 cycles per minute and a slow speed of at least 20 cycles per
minute" are required.

I haven't timed mine to see if they meet this spec' but they are pretty
dismal
compared to a late model car. No use having all this new found performance
if
you can't see where you're going.....

Any info on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Simon Brown
