Some
of the 6 cylinder models (260C, Zeds etc) have a much stronger springs and the
good ones have factory fitted deflectors - I've used these for many
years and they don't lift even at speed, well the speed that my 1600 is capable
of anyway.
Now, I had a rear door come open when I hit a
fairly minor bump the other day when I was cruising at a K or 50 above the
speed limit, bit of a worry that and I'm not sure what to do to prevent it
happening again, weld it?
