Subject: RE: Flying wipers
Mark,
Some
of the 6 cylinder models (260C, Zeds etc) have a much stronger springs and the
good ones have factory fitted deflectors - I've used these for many
years and they don't lift even at speed, well the speed that my 1600 is
capable of anyway.
Now, I had a
rear door come open when I hit a fairly minor bump the other day when I was
cruising at a K or 50 above the speed limit, bit of a worry that and I'm
not sure what to do to prevent it happening again, weld
it?
regards
Terry
Hi listers,
This may be a bit of a strange question,
but...............
Has anyone had trouble with their windscreen
wipers hovering above the windscreen at high speed.
Racing at Eastern Creek on Sunday, the wipers
on the 1600 were hovering clean off the windscreen, and about one quarter of
the way up the windscreen when coming down the main straight. We
were probably only doing around 185 - 195km per hour.
I thought it was pretty funny until it started
to rain!
Has anyone had this problem and found a
solution?
Cheers,
Mark.
