Yeah now worries, i was really just questionin the need for the mixture trim
if he went through and tuned the whole lot. Just been speaking to a few
workshops lately and the popular concesus is that mixture trim isnt a good
idea. Im not having a dig at all dont get me wrong, just interested in the
timin/duration/pulse of your injectors especially at idle etc coz as i said
we struck initial troubles with the microtech unable to control them. Also
what have u done as far as blankin off the exhaust plugs ( did u grind them
down flat or anything as i was told at higher rpms and boost etc they lead
to pinging as they get to a temperature where they ignite the fuel again. So
i went out chasing blanks but no one stocks 14mm 1.25s so i guess ill have
to grind down the plug electrodes. Sorry for the novel just interested in
getting a few opinions and you seem to be getting good results from the z18
so far.
regards chris
