Chris,
Mixture trimming is usually used when changing the size of the injectors or
pressure reg.The microtech should have no problems controlling the injectors at
idle unless the injectors are very big or leaking or just have a poor spray
pattern.Fluctuating vacum can also have an effect at idle. From memory you were
running a mtx8 with a fj20 dizzy as a pickup and using the microtech to drive 4
coils. This means that you are running sequential injection with variable
injector timing so you should be able to get a good idle. You can also run it off
your tps at idle.Who is tuning your car?
You should be able to get the 14 by 1.25's from covs or you could try looking
around at some z24's as ive seen them with the blanking plugs.Usually out of
those 2.4 skylines.Sorry to butt in but i'm curiuos as to why they cant get good
injector control.Ive seen a z18 with a digi2 running 12a turbo injectors in
batch fire and it ran pretty rough at idle, would just stall every now and then.
