Andrew feel free to butt in :). As I'm aware mixture trim is used for the exact reason you write, but, if a whole new map is to be tuned in, which is pretty much what i had put in, from what i've been told by varipous tuners, all mixture trim should be taken out. Street scene (with the aid of one of my mates) tuned the car and ive driven it hard a few times now, but i will be getting it mapped up to the maximum PSI possible (for drag meets etc 10psi for day to day driving) at rotormotion probably as theyve got their new dynamic dyno there. The car doesnt have any flat spots or anything like that, but they guy there recommended for future modifications try to up fuel pressure more than upgrade injectors, as you get better atomisation of fuel. He also raised a few interesting points about inlet manifold designs when runnin high boost, so im not sure, but some time next year when i upgrade/rebuild the engine a custom inlet manifold may be on the cards. These are the guys that run against paul martini with their 413+hp 1.4 litre motor rail. The reason the idle was bad wasnt in smoothness just in mixtures. 1.12m/sgave a lambda readin of 1.00 but it does take a while to settle there. 1.16ms gave a reading of .80. Yeah im running the mtx8 with the fj20CAS. Ill let you know what power i get when it hits the roto dyno not sure of when. I tried coventry and venables and autone and none of them could source those bolts. ah well if u see any z24s in your travels with them please let me know. sorry bout the length regards chris
