It was running fine on shutdown and when I went to start the car the Map had completely gone, not even able to start the bastard. It's happened twice to me now. The MT-8 did plus there are other's (microtech owner's) who have reported this problem. The last time I checked (about 6 months ago) A basic Motec system was about $2,000. Autronic and Motec are very similar products, the main difference is that Motec is upgradeable.
