If your $1500 - $2000 is budget for EFI management, plus, fitting, plus tuning, then you wouldn't want to spend all your $$$ on just the computer. everyone has their own personal taste. Wolf3D are a really good computer, and i have a Microtech MTX-8 and i reckon it is perfect for a street car. as for autronic, or motec or haltech or link, they are all probably just as good, but whichever one you buy, make sure you buy one that workshops you know or trust have a good knowledge on how to tune them that way you get a good system that can be fine tuned every time you play with the motor or it's ancilliaries.
