I was planning not to build the HEI kit and to try to interface directly to the Nissan module. All the kit does is take an input signal and delay it for a certain (user variable) amount of time. I just need to find out what type and level of signal will work with the kit.   I don't want to damage either the distributor or the Kit though.   Also, I am planning to stick the module in a fabricated carrier in the ash tray. I have had the kit laying around for a few months and finally decided to build it.   Has anyone already installed this kit in a Datsun? Any tips on interfacing it with the Bluebird electronic dissy? I am guessing that you just "splice" the computer into the black leads that go to the Bluebird ignition computer from the reluctor.   Is there an easy way to remove the two black reluctor coil wires inside the S2 B/Bird electronic dissy?
