I'd have to agree with Cam and Brad that the coilover conversion is involved and actually a lot more work than using good quality springs/ shocks etc.. which works great on the 1600 anyway. Because I''m using 280ZX  trailing arms, I have to go with coilovers as they have no spring platforms and adapting anything would be too difficult. Main reason is for the disc brake setup (which isn't hard to fab anyway with R31/ Silvia etc..), to easily use CV style halfshafts from a 280ZX Turbo, wider track and maintain good suspension travel with low ride height. The shock mounts will be braced and triangulated etc.. for strength and the xmember mounting points are very different from std. I'll post some photos to the members area when it's finished.
