Daniel, For some reason when I read the original post I thought you were thinking of mixing profiles as that's what you have to do to keep your suspension height level if you put a wider tyre on the back. It is done mainly on solid axle rears but even some sports cars like Porsche, but on the factory cars it's factored into the suspension components in the first place.
195/65 all round on the 200B will be sweet, hopefully you can get A539's in that size. If you are getting too much oversteer then you may have to consider beefing up the front springs a bit or even a firmer sway bar. The Skyline C210 has a fairly stiff bar that fits a Bluey (the SR20t boys fit them) so you may be lucky with one on a 200B as well. regards Terry -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Paul Stanley Sent: Sunday, 24 March 2002 5:20 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: TRX Wheels Terry, Thanks for those figures, my friend has 2 x 205/65 which I may have to give a miss as I suspect they will rub on the rear guards and put the speedo out too much. > I think that's done but I have to ask the question - why do you want > different size tyres on the front to the rear? I was refering to different widths, not profiles. I thought having wider tyres on the rear would keep the oversteer down a bit... you meantioned they have understeer but the only thing I notice with mine is oversteer. I suppose having 13 inch wheels on a car that came out with 14 inch wheels is not going to handle very well. I would be quite happy to have 195 on the front and rear. So I'm thinking 195/65 on all 4 wheels. --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
