OK, I gave in, I've just put the #5 cam in, and the #2 cam is now sitting on 
the bench.

I haven't yet tuned it up, and its got some major fuelling problems above 
4500RPM, but it pulls much harder now from when it comes on about 3500. 
Pretty much dead below 2500.

The #2 cam didn't "come on" at all, it just pulled hard to about 4300, then 
started choking. Definitely a stump puller. Never bothered to rev it much 
above 5000 since it was pointless.

This cam however shows definite potential - with correct fuelling.

BTW my engine is a bored L16 with a ported A87 head, 10.5:1 CR and flattop 
SUs.

So to get the revs I deserve I need to fix my SUs. Anybody in Auckland have 
any thinner needles I can try?
