Hey guys, after nearly a year and a half of building my turbo motor conversion, I fired it all up and was about to put it on the dyno to be tuned EXCEPT the cooling system is leaking coolant from the welsh plug in the back of the head. When the engine heats up it, a very small jet of water comes from the plug. Am I frustrated, and want to burn my beloved toy? HELL YES! Is there anything I can do apart from pulling the entire head and turbo gear off and changing it? My other question is, are Z20 and z18et head gaskets the same, more to the point do the cooling passages line up? I ask because I used a Z20 gasket and didn't really check to see if the water passages line up. (Blame it on youthful exuberance or just plain stupidity!)
