The guys who do most of my engine machine work built and developed a 500+hp izuzu SBR  
(race truck) they now have a bit of mesh welded to the top
of the exhaust after a exhust turbine wheel let go and spun out the exhuast !!! the 
pipe still has the marks most of the way up the pipe imagine if
it went into the crowd could have killed someone.
