Voltage regulator

Does anyone know a brand and serial number (Ingram - perhaps) for a replacement voltage regulator to fit a very early 240Z? It needs to fit under the original plastic cover and would prefer not to drill extra holes in the skirt. I'm not sure if 1600 510s had the same regulator. Any help appreciated.
