hi, just about any car can be made to ping.dentonate if not driven correctly.  e.g say your in first gear, then go straight to 4 th or  5 th then flatten it , then you  will hear it ping, or towing a trailer  etc..  up a hill and got wrong gear....   the guy that took my car for spin, i heard later that he did go from 2 nd to 5th, it would   MOST probally  be all right  IF he accelerated very  slowly , but he flattened it causing it to ping heaps and...........     u just gotta know how to drive properly.....     anyone else?    mark k ----- Original Message ----- From: Daniel Kroehn To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Sunday, November 17, 2002 12:33 AM Subject: Re: repairing my turbo .......
