Richard,

It's probably OK to drive short distances with it noisy - just be sensible
and don't load it up in corners etc (drive it like it's wet or GF on board).
The torque is 240 ft/lbs on the rear bearings. Very different type of
bearing in the back, they're a flat type compression loaded bearing, but the
fronts are tapered rollers and require only around 20 - 25 ft/lbs.

regards
Terry

Getting a hose to fit all the ends is impossible.. specially on a Sunday,
I'll have to try pirtek during the week.

Is it ok to drive if I can put up with the noise? or will it eventually like
sieze up? Even if I do get this thing off, getting it done back upto
140ft/lb would be near imposible. I think some things just cant be done
without the tools. Does anyone know why they have to have a nut thats
140ft/lb? Im absolutly positive I've done a front one before and they had
some kinda split pin on it.

Richard
