Don't get me wrong  - I'd buy one if I found one for sale - but what is so special about a P510SSS ? Let's face, they're NOT a Falcon GT (where stock original is worth more than modified and big name people invest mega bucks in them). All I see is a couple of small SU type carbys on an L16 with a bit more compression and a great looking dash. Interior is nothing special, wheels & brakes are the same, same floor shift 4 speed as the standard 510 etc..

I am aware of supply vs. demand, but even in today's special events such as Targa Tassie and Classic Adelaide, Datto people are calling their cars H510SSS with L18, even though they are P510s (originally fitted with L16s).

I see some of these bullshit prices floating around for P510SSS equipment that's not that special and yes I'm confused.

Rick, are you missing the SSS rocker cover (with three full ribs)? Maybe I didn't quite pick it up in the photos. Nice original find anyway.
