I have the original struts in my 1600 and
am going to have a go at rebuilding them today. They've got about as much
friction as a spoon in a bowl of custard, so they need it badly. For this
reason I'm pretty sure the O ring will need replacing. I've never had a
set appart before, so I was wondering if this O ring is just the regular type
you'd find in a tap fitting or whatever, or if they need to be ordered at an
automotive shop.
