Hi Andrew (long time no speak:),

No secrets really, the facts are (as I see them anyway), with standard 1600
struts, crossmember, drag link, tie rod ends and tie rod links (you get the
picture), that the standard tie rod link has enough 'meat' (thread) in it to
allow enough for a safe 3deg neg camber (via lengthened lower control arms).
I was personally running 3.5 neg with the standard tie rod links, but
wouldn't recommend it to the general public, as they factory links are
running out of thread at that point, and I was silly enough to run them. I
now run 4 deg neg camber with the 'new' longer tie rod links. The new links
are about 20mm longer and give plenty of thread at 4 deg's.

Personally for the peace of mind, now that I have the new longer links
readily available, it'd be a 'no-brainer' to upgrade to the longer links at
the same time as getting the adjustable lower control arms, just to be on
the safe side.

Cheers,

Cam McKinnon
