This might help you out,,might not.

People sell Z18's as Z18T's with a turbo on the side,,now the heads are the
same but the pistons are different..
one of my freinds allways blew head gaskets on his Z18T.
I then brought a siliva with Z18T and sold him the engine,,,,a few months
later the head gasket blew,,so off with the head to see the difference
,quite a lot,,, put on a new head gasket and its been sweet since.

the Z18T gasket blew cos it was old,
Z18 with a turbo blow all the time.
