Im on my 3 th head gasket in 6 months :D ( i should buy shares in gasket company)
running stock boost

first gasket blew due to i didnt see a water jacket at the back of the block (the head gasket did not have the hole precut) and it ate into the gasket and blew

last 2 have been due to the oring pushing the gasket into the chamber

it is a Z18ET, i pulled it apart myself and it has the blueprinting marks on the crank, rods, pistons and deck of the block, and still had factory hone marks on the bore.

Ive been using Z20 gaskets, as i cant find Z18ET gaskets over here :/

This might help you out,,might not.

People sell Z18's as Z18T's with a turbo on the side,,now the heads are the
same but the pistons are different..
one of my freinds allways blew head gaskets on his Z18T.
I then brought a siliva with Z18T and sold him the engine,,,,a few months
later the head gasket blew,,so off with the head to see the difference
,quite a lot,,, put on a new head gasket and its been sweet since.

the Z18T gasket blew cos it was old,
Z18 with a turbo blow all the time.
