If you want to use a tape measure, put a white chalk mark on each tyre at the same height from the ground and then put a vertical pen mark on that (the chalk acts as a contrasting background). Assuming the marks are at the front, measure the distance between them and then push the car back until the marks are at the rear and then measure again. The difference will be the toe in/out.

Not nice for a road car! -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of rclough Sent: Monday, 22 March 2004 2:52 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: factory front toe spec I would agree on slight toe in for straight line directional stability, parallel for really grippy rubber. Toe out starts to squeel on turns as the ackerman angle goes further out of whack and it feels vague at straight ahead. ----- Original Message ----- From: Mark <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, March 23, 2004 8:58 PM Subject: Re: factory front toe spec > Andrew......
