chris i think what you say that is much easier to do and its not a big hassel.i
will just grind off the tapered tube and weld them the other way round.
by the way do i have to swap the tube too from left too right.

Yeah mohit you dont cut the actual crossmember, you need to make up a jig to
hold the big bolts in their correct position, then grind away the welds
around the tapered tubes. You then reverse these and reweld using the jig to
align them correctly

yes i do have one.actually i pulled that fj20 engine out from it.but that
cross member is slightly shorter then the 510.

Are you sure about that Rick? I've never seen it done like that.
In the popular off the shelf kits, I am pretty sure that they just ground
off
the washers that hold the control arm studs in place then moved the stud
around
to the opposite side and rewelded it in place. Then refit it to the car and
LCAs.
