The 1965 Skyline only had a single cam engine,,may not have been ohc either?? but I think it was, and has triple sidedrafts. The 1969 GTR Skyline has a twin cam but that has Nissan on the top not prince,,But the C110/240K was made in the Prince factory that Nissan brought.

I know a guy here ( well freind of a freind) that owns one of the Skylines that race'd at bathurst in 65/66

Factory raced with No roll cage..But does have a bigger petorl tank or twin tanks?. its a while since I looked over it...Its for sale if anywhats a $15K bubble car.with race history..

I think they have it wrong on that site.

The only twin cam 24 valve engines I know of are the S20 Prince engine
as used in the first Z and also the Prince Skyline GT and the OS GIKEN
TC24 B1 six cylinder head.

"The Fairlady Z went into production in October 1969, with 2 versions.
There was the Japanese market S30 Fairlady Z with a twin cam L20 6
cylinder producing 130hp. And there was the HS30 240z with a L24 SOHC 6
cylinder with twin SU's that produced 151 hp. A third Z, the
432Z(PS30)Shared a performance version of the S20 engine with the
Skyline GT-R. " - http://www.datsunhistory.com/Roadsterstory.html

About two thirds of the way down the page.

You are talking about two different engines.

1 the L20A is a 6 cylinder with 66 mm stroke and 83mm bore.

The twin cam 24 valve model is the prince motor company S20 24 valve.
Tis was the predecessor of the LZ twin cam 16 valve Lseries 4 and uses
common components.

I loved my L24E, already done 370,000 km's on it, got 120 km/hr 2nd
gear, 7000 rpm stock, R180 3.9:1 diff, 2.077 2nd gear ratio ^_^
mmmmm....

Anyone know of the original L20 built in something like 1969?, not the
L20B which is a 4 cyl.... the original L20, which is an inline 6, and
believe it or not a dual cam, 4 valve per cylinder engine... unlike the

rest of the L's... I'd like to get my hands on one of those..

I'm sure I've bragged about the score I got before... the new and
unused

heavy duty custom made manifold for inline L engines, that has a T3
flange turbo port on it ^_^

I'll have my "L31ET" (L28E @ 3098cc and turbocharged) in a 280ZX one
day
=)

There are too many cars and engines on my list that I want....

My pipe dreams:
280ZX/"L31ET"
R30/FJ20DET (maybe with an FJ24 kit if i can possibly get my hands on
one at some point)
240Z/"L31"
R30 (non-import)/"L31" from L24E
280Z/VRH35DETT (fat chance of getting that engine, the R390 GT-1 Road
Car is in the millions of dollars for a price tag...)
Z31 300ZX/VG30DETT (maybe VG33ET)
Z32 300ZX/VH45DET
R34 GT-R/"L31ET"

I plan on making the 280ZX and one of the R30's happen, I'm heading in
the right direction for the ZX, have got pretty much the rarest part
i'll need yay.

Anyone know anything about the original L20? specifications, block
size,

etc?
