Now that you mention it I think thats probably what it was. In which case it was probably a 16hp which means 10k was probably a surge rating.
Still I'd love to have one now for our camp, the conventional generattle is pretty aggravating. With a diesel set like that I'd build a dedicated generator house, pour a pad, put the generator in it and build a shed around it. Try to steal my generator now rotten thieving bastards!
