I believe that was the case.

Understand that it doesn't cause or create the leaks - its ability to flow 
makes it easier to get past what might have been small or marginal leaks with 
Dino oil.  If it causes the seals or gaskets to swell slightLy, the leaks 
should decrease or stop on their own.
