As a long time Beemer rider, I have concluded that testosterone, alcohol, night riding and deer cause most bike fatalities.

Been riding for years (24 of them actually) and have ridden with every type of rider there is from dual sport/motards to Rice rockets that went way too
fast to Harley's , Beezers and Beemers. I have seen more stupid accidents
that were the fault of the biker riding with the "Harley" type. Seems to be
that a majority of that crowd likes to use the "buy ya a beer at the next
bar" attitude for a reason to ride. Not good.

Around here the fatalities are mostly inexperienced riders on a new
harley (used to have more money than brains, Now they have neither)

There is a reason Harley riders don't like ricers.
Every couple of years some doctor or other gets the cotton wool out and
wants to ban motorcycling because it it is dangerous and kills riders.
Problem is one day some sort of politically correct government will listen
and start to ban two wheeling.
The vast majority of motorcyle only fatalities are young inexperienced
riders on Jap bikes, this makes for good fodder for the local rag.

I've known Harley riders not to wave at Jap bike riders (but other,
