Up until this morning I have had no problem with it. Everything was as it
should be. I would turn the key, the glow plug light would come on, by the time
I had my seat belt fastened it would fire right up. Dash light would stay on
for about ten seconds, then off until the next start. This morning I did my
usual routine, but no start - it just cranked for 20 seconds with nothing. The
way the steering wheel was turned I couldn't see the glow plug light was not
on. Tried the key a few more times and not a glimmer from the light. I'll put
in the relay in the morning and give it a try.

Low probability solution, but the cheapest one:
Replace the light bulb. (does it blink on and go out, or does it never
come on?)
If the glow plugs get current, I wouldn't replace the relay, or anything
else more expensive than a glow plug, I'd just count to 30 and crank.
