Note that ARB_point_parameters doesn't actually work correctly...

I remember there were a couple of fixes that depended on changes to core Mesa. 
I'm not sure whether those were backported, but I have my doubts.

Besides, isn't the point of the 7.0 branch to have a *stable* branch?
