I have comcast and use Ubuntu 8.04 and connect with a router (original setup
years ago was Windows). First of all a computer should never directly
connected to the internet via a cable modem. No security. Always use a
router... that being said comcast works with all operating systems. Starnge
issue. If youe son uses twitter.com he can try getting help from
