Interesting. Does this apply even with a built-in firewall? Does it apply
equally to Linux and Windows? I know I have a firewall on the Windows
side, but does one come "out of the box" for the Ubuntu side? I hate
the thought of having to dedicate another PC for firewall use, or having
to purchase a small box to put between my cable modem and my PC
(yes, I finally got cable... what an improvement over dialup!). What are
my choices here? Do any cable modems have built-in firewalls?
