Keep in mind that VMWare Server is a free product and works fine (I use it currently). It is much like VMWare Workstation (which costs) but it also has the ability to run virtual machines without the GUI "viewer" open (i.e. you can disconnect the graphical part and the VM will run in the background). You can also connect to a VM from a remote machine with the VMWare Server Console (a small GUI app) if that's your cup of tea. The only feature I've found in Workstation that I wish was in Server was the local drive access, but I use samba and Windows File Sharing and it works just fine. -Frank -- ---------------------------------- Frank Wallingford [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Mid-Hudson Valley Linux Users Group http://mhvlug.org http://mhvlug.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mhvlug Upcoming Meetings (6pm - 8pm) MHVLS Auditorium Sep 3 - Porkchop - The Areas of My Expertise Oct 1 - Ubikeys Oct 4 - Linux Fest Nov 5 - Releasing Open Source Software Dec 3 - TBD
