I have been messing around with some older hardware. WebDT366 is a low power tablet from many years ago. The manufacturer dtresearch is still producing newer more powerful models (not cheap though). The touch panel is produced by Penmount. If you are interested, check out webdt.org where folks get together to discuss the product line. Anyway I have Debian running with LXDE and full hardware support. This is not a powerhouse model WebDT366 has only 1 USB 1.0 port, AMD Geode 400Mhz, 256MB RAM, and a tiny 512MB internal Flash drive. It is limited but still fun and only ~ $100 used on ebay. The weak point is video, but the DT360 had better hardware for that for ~ $250. These are most likely not what you're in the market for, but just throwing it out there. With ThinkPads having great Linux support, I would hope their tablets had good support for Linux also (just never searched myself). Eric On Fri, 2010-06-25 at 20:28 -0400, John D.
