There are a lot of image viewer programs available on Linux, I have several of them that work. What does this "FastStone" do that makes it special?

Would like to migrate from Windows to Linux for my Graphics Apps.

While some like GIMP are available for both, there are others like
FastStone Image Viewer that are Windows only so would have to run under
Wine.
The App Database may not be up to date for Graphics but many of the
Windows only apps I use are listed working which is good.

Am interested in any suggestions concerning distros or any recent
experence concerning this.

Thanks

Gene
